Overview
Schedule Import Assistant helps you find and fix errors in your schedule import file without leaving Repsly. If your CSV or Excel file has validation errors, you can review every row, see exactly which cells are failing, correct them in place, and complete the import, with no need to edit the file in Excel and re-upload.
Who can use it
- Repsly Admins who import schedules via CSV or Excel
- Available on all plans, in the web app only
Before you start
- Schedule Import Assistant edits a working copy of your import inside Repsly. Your original file is not changed.
- Most errors can be fixed inline. Some rows (for example, rows that try to delete visits already marked as Done) can’t be fixed and need to be deleted from the import.
How to import a schedule and fix errors
Go to the Schedule tab. Click + New visit, then select Import visits.
Upload your CSV or Excel file and map your columns.
If the file contains errors, you’ll see a message that the import failed validation. Click Fix errors.
Schedule Import Assistant opens. At the top, a summary shows how many errors were found and in how many rows (e.g., “8 errors in 3 rows”).
- Narrow your view:
- Only show rows with errors filters the grid to rows that block the import.
See error details opens the error sidebar.
In the sidebar, errors are grouped by type, row number, and field. Click an error to jump to the highlighted cell.
Click the cell and enter the correct value. Repsly re-validates automatically and clears the error once the value is valid.
For rows that can’t be fixed, delete the row from the import.
When all errors are resolved, click Import. You’ll return to the Schedule tab with a confirmation showing how many visits were created and updated.
