Previously, adding multiple barcodes per product could only be done manually through the Web app, which was time-consuming and inefficient for customers with large inventories.
To address this challenge, we've introduced a column, "Additional barcodes," in the existing product import and export feature. This enhancement allows managers to configure and update multiple barcodes for products in bulk, significantly reducing the time and effort required for barcode management.
With the updated product import functionality, admins can now add and update additional barcodes in bulk, providing a more scalable solution for managing product data in the Repsly database. Similarly, the new export functionality enables admins to export these additional barcodes, offering clear visibility of previously added codes and assisting in the preparation of import files. This streamlined approach offers a more efficient, scalable solution for managing large inventories, empowering admins to handle product barcodes with ease.
Step 1 (Export): You can navigate to the products page to export a full list of your products.
Step 2 (Update & Import): Once exported, you can update the Additional Barcodes field to include the new barcodes you want to attach to a specific product. Once updated, import it into Repsly, and all revised products will be updated.
