Field teams often segment their territories and plan their work based on where stores are located, rather than the type of store or account they belong to. This helps them maximize coverage while minimizing travel time.
Using Map Selection gives users precise control when creating territories, assigning reps, or scheduling visits by allowing them to select Places based on their location on the map.
Watch the video below for a quick tutorial on how to use map selection to manage your Places.
To use map selection, first click “show map” on the Place page to visualize all of your places. If you need to, set some filters to narrow the list of places that shows up on the map.
To select places based on their location, check the box for "Draw Selection Shape" on the top right corner of the map. Once checked, you can click on the map to draw an area and Repsly will automatically select all of the places inside. You can also click on individual Places to add them to the selection.
Once selected, you can use the Action bar at the bottom of the screen to add these places to a new territory, assign them to reps on your team, schedule visits or take other actions to manage your Places.
Using map selection will give you greater control when creating territories and planning work based on geography. Give it a try today!
