The Matrix Forms product update introduces an enhanced form-building experience, allowing web admins to create more intuitive and structured forms. This update enables mobile users to efficiently evaluate multiple items in a grid format, simplifying the process of answering questions.
With full support on both iOS and Android, Matrix Forms provides a streamlined approach to form completion on the go.
By structuring different items, options, or categories into rows and organizing question types into columns, the Matrix format saves time and improves data accuracy.
Matrix questions function using a grid-based layout, where:
- Rows within a Matrix represent different items, options, or categories for which Reps must evaluate and provide answers.
- Columns within a Matrix capture the questions related to the items listed in the rows.
Matrix question displayed on tablet and mobile:
- Each row item is populated alongside multiple questions, which can be answered within the grid generated by the columns of the form.
Introducing Product Matrix
Building upon this foundation, the Product Matrix question type enhances the Matrix Forms functionality by connecting directly to your product catalog and enabling intelligent, dynamic filtering for in-store audits. Designed to replace static product lists and inflexible retail audits, the Product Matrix improves efficiency, accuracy, and scalability for teams in the field.
Product Matrix ensures reps see only the products that matter for each store visit. With Product Tags filtering and optional Approved Product List (APL) integration, admins can dynamically filter products for each location, eliminating clutter and reducing audit time.
Benefits:
- Less scrolling, more auditing
- Only relevant products per store
- Increased accuracy in reporting
Your Tags Do the Work
Define tags such as "beverage", "promotion," or "seasonal" once, and Product Matrix automatically applies them to generate the correct product list for each visit. No manual updates needed.
A Smarter Way to Scale
With Retail Audits being static, the Product Matrix grows with your business. It adapts to changing product catalogs, store-specific requirements, and team workflows, while maintaining a modern mobile experience.
Why am I not seeing products in Matrix?
Product information changes might result in products dynamically changing:
- Product active/inactive
- Product group active/inactive
- Product tags changed on products
- Matrix question configuration has changed
