Control which teams can see and use your files and folders with team-based visibility settings.
Click on the Files section. Click the three dots next to the Folder name and select Set visibility.
Adjust visibility under the option By Teams.
- Click Apply.
Understanding Visibility Restrictions
What Restricted Users See:
- Only files in folders they have access to are visible
- Search results are automatically filtered by team
What Restricted Users Cannot Do:
- Access files in folders outside their team assignments
- See forms or files assigned to "teams outside their access"
Visibility Setting Conflicts
When editing content assigned to multiple teams:
- If you belong to all assigned teams: You can edit everything
- If you belong to some assigned teams: Visibility settings are locked
System shows: "This form is assigned to teams outside your access"
Automatic Team Assignment:
- When a restricted user creates content, it's automatically assigned to their team(s)
- No way to accidentally assign content outside their access
- Prevents cross-team data leakage
