Overview
In Repsly, we limit the file types that can be uploaded. This keeps things organized, saves space, and ensures only safe and useful files are shared.
Why limit File types?
Limiting file types means Repsly will only allow specific kinds of files to be uploaded. This can prevent unwanted files from being shared and keep the system secure.
What File Types does Repsly support?
By default, Repsly allows multiple common file types, including:
- Documents: Files like .doc, .docx, .htm, .html, .ods, .odt, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .pub, .rtf, .txt, .xls, .xlsb, .xlsm, .xlsx, .xps
- Images: Files like .gif, .jfif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .svg, .tif, .tiff, .webp
- Videos: Files like .avi, .m4a, .m4v, .MOV, .mp3, .mp4, .webm, .wmv
- Data Files: Files like .7z, .csv, .rar, .xml, .zip
All other file types are not supported and can’t be uploaded.
