Here’s what’s new:
- Passwords will now require at least one special character (!@#$%^&*).
- Users will be locked out after 3 unsuccessful login attempts (previously 10).
- Locked-out users will regain access automatically after 15 minutes (previously 60 minutes).
- Web users will be logged out automatically after two hours of inactivity (previously 3 hours or unlimited depending on Okta migration status).
- Mobile users will be logged out after seven days of inactivity.
Special Characters in Passwords
Under the new password policy, all passwords must now include at least one special character (!@#$%^&*). This update ensures your password is more robust and resistant to unauthorized access attempts.
What does this mean for you?
- If your current password already meets the new criteria, you don’t need to take any action until your next password update.
- If your password doesn’t meet the requirement, you will be prompted to include a special character during your next password reset.
It’s important to note that existing passwords will remain valid. You won’t need to reset your password immediately unless it’s part of your regular update cycle.
1. Click on the Forgot password button.
2. Enter your email and tap Submit.
3. You will receive an email to reset your password from no-reply@repsly.com named Forgotten password reset. If you don't get the e-mail, please check your spam/trash folders.
4. Set your new password on the next screen.
Result
After you select a new password, you will use it for all future logins.
