When I was a field rep myself some years ago, my manager would often call me up and ask me questions about my account/place list.
We weren't fortunate enough to use a retail execution tool back then, but I can only imagine how much easier things would have been if I were using Repsly. A way in which I would have used it is to check on a single or group of stores each time my manager called me up with a question.
Most Repsly mobile users know that the place list can be searched by typing in the name of the store, but what if you need to check on a group of stores.
This is when Place Tags come into play. Place tags allow managers to easily filter through items on the web app, but they're also very helpful on the mobile device.
For example, my manager may ask me how many special displays do you need for the CVS seasonal sale?
Years ago, I would've had to count through all of the CVS accounts on my route in my head or check the hard copy of my schedule in the back seat of my car. In Repsly, answering this question is as simple as opening to Places, tapping on the filter in the top right hand corner, and selecting the CVS tag.
Are there any other ways your team uses tags on the mobile device? If your manager is not using Place Tags to begin with, perhaps now is the time to encourage them to do so!
