There are two separate types of users in Repsly - Representatives and Backoffice users.
Here's a run-down on the difference between them:
- Representative users have access to the mobile application and can perform field activities such as "Place Visits" and data input tasks.
- Backoffice users have access to the web portal and can perform setup & run reports but are not able to input activity data or make visits.
- Most customers will pay for each activated Representative and be granted an unlimited number of free Backoffice users.
- If you are both a Representative and Backoffice user, your login for the mobile application and web portal may vary since these profiles are set up separately.
Keep the following in mind:
If you are not a Representative user, you will not be able to login to the mobile application.
If you are not a Backoffice user, you will not be able to login to the web portal.
Web vs Mobile App login
Web
You can log into the web portal if you are a Backoffice user.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it. If you do not receive a reset password link, it is likely that you are not set up as a Backoffice user; we can not tell you this when you choose to reset your password because that would violate privacy and security protocol.

Mobile
You can log in to the iOS or Android mobile application if you are a Representative user.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it. If you do not receive a reset password link, it is likely that you are not set up as a Representative user; we can not tell you this when you choose to reset your password because that would violate privacy and security protocol. Also of note, the Backoffice users managing the account can choose to disallow Representatives from resetting their passwords with a setting. If you don't see the Forgot your password link, you should contact your manager, as they are the ones that can change the password for you.

If you need to have access to the web portal, one of your existing Backoffice users needs to add you. Here are instructions on how they can do that: How to add a new user to the Back Office Web portal
