Adding Alerts to Forms
Looking for immediate answers to how well your product is performing out in the field?
Form alerts are set up through the Create Alert button option at the end of every Repsly Form template. In creating an alert, a back-office user must specify the email’s subject and identify recipients.
1. Click on Forms
2. Choose what form you want to add an alert to.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the create alert button. Once you press that button, you will need to fill out the required information and then press save to create the new alert.
Choose a name for your alert and the recipients of your alert. The recipients must be your backoffice users and the alert title can be anything you want.
You can create form alerts with Yes/No, dropdown Selection, Numeric, and Date question types.
When the form input matches the desired criterion, an alert is triggered and sent to the assigned e-mail recipients with a direct link to a form in question.
NOTE: You can create alerts that must match multiple criteria.
Alert that must match all criteria.
To set up an alert that must match multiple criteria, you can simply create one alert with multiple questions.
In this example, both the answer to "Are competitors present" must be "Yes" and "Our price is" must be "0". Only then will an alert be sent. If the answer to "Our price is" is "0" and the answer "Are competitors present" is "No", the alert will not be sent.
Alert that must match any of the criteria.
To create an alert that must match any of the criteria, you are in fact creating multiple alerts. In this example, either the answer to "Are competitors present" must be "Yes" or "Our price is" must be "0". If the answer to "Our price is" is "0" and the answer "Are competitors present" is "No", the alert will still be sent because one of the conditions has been fulfilled.
